Joseph Gardie Crose age 73, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Joseph was born September 25, 1950, to Gardie and Cynthia (Branham) Crose in Shelby, Ohio. He was a lifelong area resident. Joe was a truck driver with National Material for over 25 years, and was always on the go, even in his personal life. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether it was boating on Lake Erie, camping or spending time with his loyal K-9 or kitty companions.
He could often be found tinkering with anything that ran on gas, as Joe was quite the handyman and was able to fix any small engine.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Debra (Salter) Crose, two sons, Joseph (Heather) Crose of Mansfield and Jerry (Tiffany) Crose of Shelby; two step-sons, Jeremy Parsons and Chris Parsons of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Ashlie, Joshua, Bailé, and Mckenzie Crose; five step-grandchildren, Camron, Bella, Bekka, Trentyn, and Mykah Parsons; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers James and George Crose of Mansfield; special niece/daughter Dora Cox of Mansfield; numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene (Friebel) Crose, in 1996; and three sisters, Sandy Porter, Martha Greer, and Wanda Coffer.
