Deborah K. Fast, age 75 passed away peacefully Friday, July 5, 2024 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.
Born January 8, 1949 in New London, Ohio to Maurice and Dorothy (Carpenter) Smith. A 1967 graduate of New London High School. Deborah had been a life long resident of Shelby, Ohio. Deborah had worked as a Nurse’s Aide for several years at the New London Hospital and Crestwood Care Center before being employed with Diversified Assemblies until her retirement.
She enjoyed showing her horses, she loved rodeos and watching the cooking channel. Her passion were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a huge heart for taking care of other people.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Wayne Fast, two daughters Stacy (Robert) Lamb of Shelby Ohio, Tara (Mark) Parker of Louisville, Kentucky and one son Perry Fast of Rootstown, Ohio.
Grandchildren Ashley (Nick) Mcneil of Louisville, Kentucky, Konnar Lamb of Westerville, Ohio, Alexis Cain of Louisville, Kentucky and Bryce Yoho of Ashland, Ohio. Great Granddaughters Reagan Mcneil and Harper Mcneil of Louisville, Kentucky. A brother Michael (Ingie) Smith of Grand Rapids, Michigan and two nephews Shaun (Dawn) Smith and Eric (Venna) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Dorothy Smith.
Per Deborah’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
