June's Final Friday in the Brickyard will feature Jevan Cole, Getaway Band and Zack Attack on June 28.

MANSFIELD — Friday’s lineup for the June 28 Final Friday show is sure to deliver classic rock tunes with a new spin in the Brickyard.

Mansfield native Jevan Cole will open the show at 5:30 p.m., followed by Get-A-Way Band and Zack Attack.

Jevan Cole, a Mansfield native, has a repertoire of hits from the 1960s to today.

Cole describes his style as “a mix of John Denver, Zac Brown and Jack Johnson” on his website.

Cole and Get-A-Way Band will be making their Final Friday debuts on June 28. Jamie Thompson, chief development officer for Downtown Mansfield, Inc, said the DMI team tries to draw from local and regional talent.

“Each season, we only have 15 spots for the Brickyard series, so we try to give all the talent we have here a turn,” she said.

Get-A-Way Band is led by Frank Medley, who has performed at more than 500 venues and is actively involved in the Mansfield music scene.

The band covers a wide variety of classic rock and country songs.

Zack Attack is from Cincinnati and performed at Final Friday last June.

“Zack Attack is what it sounds like — it’s the name of the band from ‘Saved By the Bell,’” Thompson said. “They do a lot of ’90s covers like INSYNC and it spans genres. They’re a big party band that everybody loves.”
