Letter to the Editor in purple lettering on envelope

I find it very sad that pools are not available for our children.

We complain about our children behavior but yet they have no outlet to become the positive citizens for growing up in Mansfield. Is the Woodland Pool open?

If so why couldn’t other pools been better restored in time for summer. Our children need good summer recreation with pools!

It is going to be very hot in Mansfield. We have no Skating Ring, Bowling Alley, Swimming Pools, Amusement parks, movie Theatre, Putt putt golf. People say our children are bad and violent!

We used to have all the above activities growing up in Mansfield. I really feel sad for the generation of children that are growing up in Mansfield now.

The disappointment is that the activity Museum and Trampoline Parks are available, but not affordable for many families.

What is really going on in Mansfield?

I pray the violence and misbehavior of our children doesn’t get out of control.

It is time for Mansfield to bring back the concern, respect and pride for our children to be proud to enjoy and have fun during their summer break with recreation, pools and learning environment that will benefit our children and help them to become positive and respectful young boys and girls.
