BELLVILLE: Kind and patient, Kathy Beal’s approach to life was to show gentleness and grace. Kathryn E. Beal, 77, of Bellville passed away Monday June 17, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness.

The daughter of James and Arminda (Query) McCready, Kathy was born October 2, 1946 in Mt. Vernon and graduated from Clear Fork High School in 1964.

On August 15, 1970 she married Norman Beal. The two celebrated nearly 54 years of marriage.

Kathy’s focus was on raising her two children and investing her time and energy as a devoted wife, mother and grandma. Family centered, she was an amazing and loving wife to Norman. Kathy always supported and cheered for her children Kurtis and Nancy, and grandchildren Luke and Annika. She loved the close bond shared with her sisters. Kathy understood that real meaning and connection in life was found in a close-loving family.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bellville where in her younger years was active in women’s groups and youth groups.

Kathy is survived by her husband Norman Beal; son Kurtis Beal; daughter Nancy (Jeff) Labaki; grandchildren Luke and Annika Labaki; caregiver and close friend Martha Snavely; sisters Janet Loch and Karen (Bob) Pasheilich; brother-in-law Steve (Sue) Beal; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Barbara Leedy Noblet, Jacquelyn Boyd, and Pat Goss.

The Beal family would also like to thank Jace Wolford from Avita Hospice for his care and compassion for Kathy.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 3-7 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where her funeral will be held Saturday at 11 am. Pastor Mark Sherwindt will officiate and burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
