BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Council on Aging (COA) has announced a new series of activities for seniors in June, including pickleball, bingo and a hot dog social.
The COA is hosting a free senior bingo event on June 4 at VFW Post 2920 in Crestline.
The event will include a social and free snacks. After the bingo, the winners will receive prizes.
Because space is limited, the COA is asking seniors to sign up in advance. A rain date is scheduled for June 12.
The COA is also hosting a cooking demonstration for seniors on June 26. The demonstration will be led by Kerri Eidson, SNAP educator for Crawford County.
Those attending will be able to sample food and take home recipes and information.
In addition to the bingo and cooking, the COA will also be hosting a cards and games social on June 25 at the Crestline Public Library, and a hot dog social sponsored by Altercare Bucyrus on June 6 at the Council on Aging.
“I’m always looking for new crafts, new learning opportunities and new ways for seniors to have fun,” said Courtney Moody, activities coordinator.
