MANSFIELD — Newsroom After Hours opened its 2024 season with local and regional talent for a goth and punk rock show.

Mansfield native and Ashland High School graduate Raven Starr opened Friday’s show. It was their first solo live performance. Headliner Academy Order took the stage second — making its Ohio debut.

Punk rock and alternative band MK Ultra, based in the Cleveland and Akron area, finished Friday’s show. Three of its members are Ashland University graduates. The band played at Ashland’s Springfest last month.
