Linda Ann King, 65, of Crestline, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. Linda was born December 24, 1958, in Crestline, and delivered by Dr. Mortin Brooks. She was one of three children to the proud parents of Richard and Jeanne (Hensley) Donaldson, Sr.
A proud alumna of Crestline High School, class of 1977. During her time in Crestline, Linda was a pillar of her community, known for her vibrant social spirit, and her generosity to others. She had a wide range of interests which included gardening, music, sports and real estate. Linda’s green thumb brought to life numerous gardens, her music collection filled the air with melodies from Hall & Oates, Neil Young, The O’Jays, and Elton John – favorites that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her. She could often be seen cheering on her favorite teams The Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Guardians. Linda found joy in seeing houses transformed into homes as a passionate Real Estate enthusiast.
Though accomplished in her professional pursuits, Linda’s true happiness came from her time spent with her children, as well as her cherished grandchildren. Her love and dedication to her family were unwavering, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Linda A. King will forever be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and steadfast love for her family. In her memory, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and joy. May she rest in eternal peace.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Cheryl (Harvey Kisner) King of Mansfield, Jeff King of Mansfield, Charles (Tonya) King of Ontario, grandchildren; Treyven Allen, De Michael, Kinleigh Richelle, Harley Elizabeth, Harvey Nick, Jr. Siblings; Katherine (Lacy) Shawver, Richard “Bud” Donaldson, and dog companion Rubble.
Along with Linda’s parents, she is preceded in death by Uncle Louis Ariemma, Jr., and best friend Mary Ann Blubaugh.
