BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Business Advisory Council is changing the way it does business by investing in a new workforce development program for students.
Beginning in the fall of 2024, the BAC will transition to a new platform called YouScience, which will provide career coaching and support to students as they explore their interests and talents.
The goal of YouScience is to help students make informed career decisions by giving them a better understanding of their unique skills and interests.
By using a data-driven, scientifically validated approach, YouScience will help students make better-informed career decisions.
The Crawford Partnership believes that this new program will strengthen the collaboration between education and the business community and help ensure that local students have the skills they need to meet the demands of today’s economy.
The Crawford Partnership will work with Pioneer Career & Technology Schools to implement YouScience in the fall of 2024.
The program will be open to all students in participating Crawford County schools.
Companies interested in promoting career opportunities on YouScience can contact Lisa Marcum at 419-566-8358 or email lisam@crawfordpartnership.org.
