George William Schafer III, age 65, passed away at Home on Friday, April 26, 2024.
George was born June 28, 1958, in Mansfield, Ohio to George and Sandra (Gregory) Schafer Jr. He was a local Real-estate agent and Appraiser for the better part of his life. Among the things he enjoyed the most were chess, auctions, and the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother Sandra Schafer; his five sons, Daniel (Jenn) Schafer, David Schafer, Ben Schafer, Aaron (Jessie) Schafer and Christopher (Abby) Schafer; two sisters, Karen (Jeffrey) Robertson, Leigh (Bruce) Downs, and brother William A. Schafer; four grandchildren, Alexis Schafer, Vyncent Hopkins, Trace Schafer, and Troy Schafer; and one great grandchild Serenity Allen and numerous nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
He was preceded in death by his father George William Schafer Jr. and his brother Guy Matthew Schafer.
A celebration of life will be held at a later Date.
