Barry Lee Snyder, 63, of Galion, departed from this world on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Galion Avita Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1961, to the late Neil Snyder and Donna (Grimwood) Wilson.

Barry’s life was one characterized by love and devotion. His joy knew no bounds when spending time with his sons Joshua, Jacob, and daughter Brandy, relishing the simple pleasures of life, whether it was camping trips or attending their sporting events.

A man of varied interests, Barry found solace and delight in attending the YMCA, participating in a bowling league at Suburban Lanes, and rooting passionately for his favorite sports teams—the Guardians, Browns, Cavs, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. grandchildren: for life extended to thrilling adventures at amusement parks, especially when enjoying them with his beloved children.

Barry’s memory will forever be cherished by his family, including his children; sons, Joshua (Samantha) and Jacob Snyder of Galion, daughter Brandy (Ronald) Cisco of Caseyville, IL, brothers; Dave (Gail) Snyder of Wilmington, DE, Douglas (Tammy) Snyder of Galion, 4 grandchildren; John Boyd-Snyder, Lily Cisco, Haylie Cisco, and Abby Cisco along with all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends may call on Tuesday May 14, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion, with funeral service immediately following at 11:00am. Pastor Junior Boyd will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford County Memory Gardens.
