Charlene J. Krebs, 77
Charlene J. Krebs, 77 of Ashland passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 in University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 27, 1946 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Rose Marie (nee Bishop) Smith.
Charlene graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1964.
She retired from the Ashland Police Department as a clerical clerk in 2009.
Throughout her life, she was an avid Cleveland Indians, the Ohio State University, and Cleveland Cavaliers fan.
She is survived by one daughter, Kecia Moore of Ashland; one son, Kevin Krebs of Hayesville; two grandchildren, Cody Moore of Hayesville and Austin (Kaitlyn) Moore of Ashland; two great grandchildren, Carolyn and Oliver; and one brother, Charlie (Judy) Smith of Oscela, Indiana.
Charlene is preceded in death by her parents; and a son-in-law, Ty Moore.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hayesville Fire Department, P.O. Box 242, Hayesville, Ohio 44842.
