MANSFIELD The Ohio Optometric Association (OOA) will host an In-School Eye Exam (iSEE) event on April 24 and 25 at John Sherman Elementary School. 

The iSEE program is operated by the Ohio Optometric Foundation (OOF) and provides comprehensive eye exams to students identified by school nurses as needing vision care. 

Studies show that 70% of academic-related tasks take place through vision. iSEE’s two-day volunteer event in the school will provide eye exams and eyewear at no charge to students who are at risk academically because of their visual needs. iSEE events are provided at no cost.

Where: John Sherman Elementary School, 1138 Springmill Rd., Mansfield.

When: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 24 & 25.
