Robert E. Lipps passed away at his home on Monday, April 15, 2024.
Bob was a WWII buff with an extensive collection, and an avid sporting clays enthusiast. He lived the philosophy that “he who dies with the most toys wins.”
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years Betty, his daughter April of Goose Creek S.C., niece Suzy (Mike) Kontul, nephew Glen (Liz) Simmons, niece and nephew Crystal and Rusty Carpenter, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by 4 step children, 15 step-grandchildren and 40 step-great grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Nina Lipps, two sisters Jackie and Rita, brother-in-law Dale Simmons, brothers-in-law John and Jerry Zajack, niece Loraine Zajack Parker and step great grandson Paul.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 4pm till 5pm at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield, OH. A short service will follow immediately at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project of your choice.
