Cheryl Clark, age 66, of Ashland, passed away early Saturday morning, April 13, 2024, at OhioHealth Mansfield. She was born May 22, 1957, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late James Forrest and Wanda June (Oster) Hamilton.

She was a very social woman who enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially going on day trips and playing Bingo. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of her favorite ways to spend her time and family was always her center of attention. They always came first in her life.

Cheryl worked as a nurse aide at Kingston of Ashland for 20 years. While dealing with her own need for dialysis she grew close to other patients at the Fresenius Clinic in Ashland who were sharing β€œchair time” with her.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Robert Clark; three children, Andrew (Jing Jing) Clark, Benjamin (Alyssa) Clark and Krista Clark; two grandchildren, Cecilia and Abraham Clark; two brothers, Brett Hamilton and Steve (Linda) Hamilton; her special friend of 60 years, Marie Schmidt; and special friend she met at work and kept far beyond that time, Twila Gast.

There will be no services or visitation at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Association. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the family.
