Jean D. Snyder passed away on April 9, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was 95.

She was born on March 11, 1929 to parents Earl & Hazel (James) Stullenburger in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

On November 27, 1955, she married the love of her life, Thomas Snyder, and they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage until he passed away in 2014. Now they are together again.

For over 40 years Jean worked as a Real Estate Agent and obtained her Broker’s license. She was also a longtime member of Berean Baptist Church, for over 40 years she enjoyed sharing her strong faith and the fellowship of her church family.

In her spare time, Jean took pleasure in staying on top of her physical fitness, never missing her daily aerobics classes and even tap dancing up until 6 months ago! In her younger years Jean and Tom were avid Ohio State Buckeye fans, and watched many games together as season pass holders. But above all, she cherished her family. Ever the devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Jean would do anything for her family whenever she was needed. Her fun spirit, great sense of humor, and spontaneity will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her daughters Lynn (John) Lambrecht and their children Caedi Lambrecht and Tommy (Abbie) Lambrecht, Kelly (Gordie) Rivington and their children Brandon (Melanie Rybar) Rivington and Danica (Tyler) Baker, as well as many extended family members in Martins Ferry, Ohio and Portland, Oregon.

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, sister Louise Spinetti, and brother Bill Stullenburger.

Per Jean’s wishes, private family services will be held.
