Corinne Jean “Jeannie” Gossom, 71, passed away on March 24, 2024 at
Ohio Health Mansfield.
She was born May 17, 1952 in Mansfield, Ohio and was the daughter of Harold R. Miller
and Ladonna J. (Garber) Eichinger.
Corinne worked as a bartender for many years at Mohican Lodge, where she gained
lifelong friends and enjoyed getting to know her guests and regulars.
In her spare time she enjoyed canoeing, working in her flower beds, painting, camping,
and sitting around a bonfire with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.
She is survived by her children Jeff (Christine) Heichel, Ken (Molly) Heichel, Jennifer
Knackstedt, and Gina Smith (Nate Botjer), grandchildren Jeff Heichel, Magen Galloway, Ian
Heichel, Katrina Heichel, Tim Heichel, Karli Knackstedt, Landyn Chelski, Chandler Chelski,
Gianna Smith, Bennett Botjer, and Brycen Botjer, six great grandchildren, sisters Kathy Frontz and Julie Miller, a special niece Theresa Cornelius, aunt Judy Scott, and her specials friends at Ontario Park Meadows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mike Gossom and
grandparents Bryan and Mary Garber.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Chinatown
Restaurant located at 283 Ashland Road in Mansfield.
