Malcolm Jerome Skanes, 59, passed away at his home on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Malcolm was born in Florala, Alabama on January 17, 1965 to Willie Williams and Louvenia Skanes. He was employed at Nanogate. He loved spending time with his family.
Malcolm is survived by his siblings, Voncille (Adam) Curry, Jeanette (Charles) Gaines, Calvin G. (Cherise) Williams; his nephews, Adam Curry Jr., David Brown, Tyrone Rowe, Zane Curry, Ian Gaines, and Travis Skanes; his nieces, Asya Curry, Jaylen Curry, Latoya Curry, Cassandra Curry, Nova Curry, Journee Curry, Domenek Williams, Danyell Williams, Destane Williams, Lorinda Gaines, and Shaniqua Skanes; his great-niece, Amiyah Brown; and a host of many others he considers nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles Skanes.
There will be no public services observed. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the Skanes family.
