Shirley Brothers, age 77, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on March 20, 2024. On May 14, 1946 she was born in Mansfield, Ohio the daughter of the late Ruth Sells Brothers and Harold Brothers. Shirley had worked at Diversified Assemblies in Shelby, Ohio for over 20 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She dedicated her time to work and her family. She was an extremely driven and hard-working woman. Her proudest achievements were her family. She couldn’t have been more proud of her son and grandchildren. She never missed anything for her family.
Shirley is survived by her son, Joshua Carpenter; granddaughters, Tiffany Carpenter and Taylor Lilly (husband and grandson-in-law, Tracy Lilly); great grandchildren, Jaxson Collins, Tai Collins and Sophia Collins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Sells; father, Harold Brothers; sisters, Florence Brothers and Pat Bixler, and brother, Richard Brothers.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Shirley’s life Friday March 29. 2024 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at 1220 N. Market Street in Galion, Ohio 44833.
