Anna “Susie” Blevins went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was 98 years old.

She was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to the late Evert and Mary (Mosier) Bledsoe. Susie will be greatly missed by her family, friends, brothers, and sisters in the Gospel Assembly Church. She was a sweet and humble lady with no need for fancy things. Susie loved starting each day with the reading of her Bible; and always had a smile when family and friends came to visit her. She liked to embroider, do word puzzles and reading. Susie was known for her delicious apple stack cake.

Our lives will forever be changed, but she is at rest and no longer suffering.

Susie married Chester Blevins and together they had two children. She is survived by a son, Ron (Connie) Blevins; four grandchildren, Darrin, Dawn, Angie and Ronnie; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Greenhill Clark; one brother, Kenneth Carroll; and several nieces, nephews and many loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Blevins; daughter, Brenda (Pete) Billotte; and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor James Owens will follow at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Memorial Park.
