Angie Voll, UWNCO chief development officer

CRAWFORD COUNTY — United Way of North Central Ohio has selected Angie Voll as its new chief development officer.

UWNCO serves Crawford, Marion and Wyandot counties

Voll assumed the role on March 4 and will lead the organization’s development and growth efforts, creating an integrated team dedicated to generating, growing, and sustaining corporate and individual donors.

She will also have primary responsibility for resource development in Marion County and UWNCO’s expanding region.

“Angie’s strong family and professional ties to Marion and the surrounding area, combined with her skillset in project management and relationship-building, make her a great asset to our team,” said Amber Wertman, UWNCO CEO.

“As our community impact grows in the region, we are adapting our organization to ensure that donor development keeps pace, and Angie plays a vital role in making that
happen.”

Voll was an assistant professor of social sciences at Marion Technical College for 16 years and she continues to teach at MTC as an adjunct professor.

Voll and her husband, Michael, have five children, the two youngest of whom live at home with them in Galion.

Michael Voll is currently principal of Colonel Crawford High School in North Robinson and was recently selected as the new superintendent of Colonel Crawford Local School District effective August 2024.

“My husband is from Marion,” Voll said, “and his parents – Fran Voll and Sue Granger – have always exemplified for me the deep commitment to caring for one another that this community embraces.

“That’s the work I want to do at United Way: bridging the gap between those in need and those who are here to help, and building community relationships that create opportunities for everyone to thrive.”

United Way of North Central Ohio facilitates and funds more than 45 programs and projects bringing bold impact to improve the lives of every person in every community in our region. Learn more at unitedwaynco.org.
