It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Robert Edward “Ed” Perry on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Ed was born on December 23, 1963, in Mansfield, to Monty and Christine (Knipp) Perry. He married his sweetheart, Rene`(Place) Perry on June 24, 1983. Ed loved his family, and was a good grandpa, having three grandchildren and one on the way. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, and stamp collecting.
He is survived by his wife, Rene` Perry; children Heather (Joe) Romero of Lacey, Washington and Isaac (Moriah) Perry of Ashland; grandchildren, Alyssa Romero, Cheyanne Perry, Maya Perry, and soon to be born, baby boy; brothers, Dale (Jeaneen) Perry of Shelby, Eric (Becky) Perry of Mansfield, and Phil (Keely) Perry of Tiro; and father, Monty (Hannah) Perry of Mansfield, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Perry; and sister, Angie Wolbaugh.
Calling hours will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at Springmill Cemetery.
