MANSFIELD – Haring Realty, in partnership with the United Way of North Central Ohio, is excited to announce the return of the “Richlandopoly” fundraiser.
This unique, live-action board game event is set to take place on March 1, at the King Ballroom, Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield.
Now in its sixth year, “Richlandopoly” has become a beloved tradition, engaging local businesses in a creative and impactful way to support the community.
The concept transforms the classic board game into a life-size experience where teams from local businesses navigate a 20’x 20’ game board.
Participants will roll giant dice, move oversized game pieces, exchange large-scale currency, and may even find themselves in a life-size “jail.”
This year, we are proud to have eight competing teams from notable local businesses, including Adena, CNG Charter Next Generation, Hamilton Insurance, McDonald’s, Mechanics Bank, Park National Bank, Richland Source, and Warren Rupp, Inc.
Haring Realty and over 40 local business sponsors aim to surpass the remarkable $11,610 raised during the last event in 2022.
“We are committed to ensuring that 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit the United Way of Richland County, furthering their mission to address vital community needs,” organizers stated.
“We are also thrilled to announce that Miss Ohio 2023, Madison Miller, will grace the event with her presence.”
The event is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering an opportunity for spectators to witness the spirited competition and cheer on their favorite teams.
The victorious team will be honored as the “Richlandopoly 2024 Winner,” celebrated for its strategic gameplay and contribution to the community.
Adding to the day’s enjoyment, Mr. Bills Mobile Wood Fired Pizza Kitchen will be on-site, located beside the Garden Gateway building.
They will generously donate 10% of their proceeds to the United Way, offering attendees delicious dining options for a good cause.
