Sharon “Sherri” Lee Holden, 81, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Sherri was born on December 6, 1942 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Herb and Bernice (Flickinger) Zehner. Sassy, hardworking, and independent, Sherri had a strong personality. She worked many manufacturing jobs, and retired from TE Connectivity. She lived life to the fullest and certainly embraced retirement with excitement and zeal. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, family was very important to Sherri. Sparkle could always be found on Sherri, she loved bling and never came across a piece she didn’t love. She loved birds, especially hummingbirds, sports, the food network and a good cold diet pepsi.

Sherri leaves behind her children, Belinda Southard, Cathy (Mark) Switzer and Lori (Rick) Holden-Sjostedt; her grandchildren, Deiserea Holden, Alysha Applegate, Stephen Southard, Tori Keen, Trevor Southard; her great-grandchildren, Vayda and Lennon Applegate, Evelyn and Natalie Southard, Austin, Dustin and Caitlin Robinson; her great-great-grandchildren, Adalynn Cornell and Makenlee Robinson; her sister-in-law, Adora Zehner; nieces and nephews; and her fur babies, Lucy and Mitzy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Dan Zehner and Shelva Zehner; her grandson, Wesley Miller; and her fur baby, Sassy.

Special thank you to Terry Smith, her friend who was instrumental toward the end of her life.

Guests will be greeted from 9:00-10:00 am on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am.
