Malvon Lemaster, age 69, of Mansfield passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born November 8, 1954, in Mansfield, Ohio.

Malvon graduated from Crestview High School in 1973. During his high school career, he was a member of the football and wrestling teams, and placed 6th in the state for wrestling. He was very proud of his first car, a purple Barracuda. Malvon was a talented woodworker, enjoyed playing pool and riding roller coasters and loved playing basketball. He was a huge OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.

He is survived by two children, Jobina Lemaster and Jason Lemaster; three grandchildren, Tyler James Sanders, Stacy McKinney and Sarah McKinney; a brother, Larry (Betty) Lemaster; two nieces, Gwyn Yoxtheimer and Kelly Hoover; a nephew, Daniel Lemaster; his caregiver, Judy Bodnar; and his feline companion, Loki.

Malvon was preceded in death by his parents, Wandalene (Wagoner) and Earl Lemaster; a brother, Michael Lemaster; and a sister-in-law, Pilar Lemaster.

The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.
