Betty Joan “Betty Jo” Snow, 85, known by all of her favorite people as “Bubba”, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She passed away peacefully at her home.
Bubba grew up in West Virginia and moved to Ohio in 1956 when she married the love of her life, Carlisle Snow. Bubba loved gambling, lottery tickets and Bingo. She never met a stranger. Most of all, Bubba loved her family. She retired from Therm-O-Disc after 30 years of service.
Bubba is preceded in death by her husband, Carlisle Snow; beloved son, Kevin Snow; father,
William Hardee; mother and step father, Vernella (Bartley) and Frank Knea; sister, Pat Fenton; brother, Billy (Hazel) Hardee; in-laws, Delmar and Mary Snow, Pat and Tony Lawrence, Bob Snow, Russell Bishop and Richard Dillon.
She is survived by a son, Mark Snow; daughters, Cheryl (John) Lykins, Mary (Jim) Heenan,
Valeria (Rod Alexander) Alamanteoff, and Vick (Mike) Lawhun; eleven grandchildren, Kristy, Johnny, Jessica, Kyle, Jeremy, Carli, Josh, Erica, Miranda, Jennifer, and Austin; twelve great- grandchildren, Sierra, Autumn, Trynitee, Haileigh, Avery, Marky, Ayson, Kamdin, George, Jackson, Charlie and anxiously awaited Calahan due on March 19, 2024; brother, Fred (Lynn) Hardee; sisters-in-law, Helen Bishop and Lu Dillon; best friends, Hank and Dorothy Frietchen; several nieces and nephews including Brenda Dillon.
Per Betty Jo’s wishes there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
