JoAnn Reedy of Mansfield passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital at the age of 84.

Born June 14, 1939, in Richlands, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Reaber (Blankenship) and Blake Plaster. JoAnn was formerly employed at Westinghouse Corp. and Allprints Photo. She attended Walker Lake Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and was a good cook. JoAnn enjoyed watching the birds that frequented her home and was a nature lover in general. She enjoyed fishing with her family, playing Bingo and Euchre, shopping and going out to eat. JoAnn was a humble, loving woman who was always smiling. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by four children, Judy Johnson Grassel, Sharon K. Hines, Lester Johnson Jr. and Bradley L. Johnson; three grandchildren, Samantha K. Scott, Dustin B. Scott and Christopher Hines; two great-grandchildren, Austin Scott and Jayden Winters; and her beloved little companion, her dog, Baby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Eugene Johnson Sr.; second husband, Bobbie Jack Reedy; two grandchildren, Brandon Scott and Nolen Hines; stepfather, Lacey Vance; and brother, Dallas Plaster.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Mullins officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Richland County.
