Jerry Ault’s philosophy of life:
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” ―Hunter S. Thompson
And what a ride it was! We were always writing episodes of a show about the life and times of Judge Jerry Ault called “Against All Odds.” They were always filled with laughter and nuggets of wisdom. Even though the show has come to an end, I know there are many of you who have stories of your own that could have been episodes as well. His family would love to hear them.
Please join us for a celebration of life on January 27th, 2024, between 1-4 pm at the Westbrook Country Club, where we hope you will come share a Jerry Ault story, a Judge Ault’ism, or just stop by to mingle.
We won’t rehash all of Jerry’s accomplishments here, only to say there were many and they were legendary!
Besides his 45-year career as chief assistant prosecutor and judge, Jerry would have hoped his life would be remembered for his character, wisdom, humor, compassion, and his love for life, family, and friends.
Instead of flowers, Jerry would have preferred a donation to the domestic violence shelter, or for you to give to someone in need.
He will be missed beyond words by his wife Brenda, daughter Emily (Eric) Turlo, sons Stephen (Leah) Parker and Spencer (Rikki) Parker, and his five grandchildren Zach, Cam, Landon, Juni, and Ari. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Katy Phillips.
