Steven Santoro, a computer engineer and resident of Mansfield, OH died on January 11,2024 after a brave fight against cancer. Much like the way he lived his life, he fought his cancer diagnosis with strength and grace.
Steve is survived by his wife, Judy, his step-children, Staci (Joe) Blechaczyk, Shea Deem, grandchildren, Chad Deem, Bryce Deem, Dalton Deem, Ryan Blecharczyk, Eric Blecharczyk, Noah Blecharczyk, Evie Blecharczyk, Shea Deem Jr. and 3 great grandkids, step-sister, Janice Barry, and cousin, Louis Serretta.
Steve was born on March 6, 1952, in Fall River, Ma to Emidio and Emma (Martin) and spent his childhood in Warren, Rhode Island. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked as a consultant in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for many years for both the Federal Government and numerous civilian companies. He was a terrific analytical person who often took on unwanted projects both at work and home, usually with a 100% solve rate. He loved to travel, with his favorite trip being to the Panama Canal. Steven will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His intelligence, kindness, and dedication to the family will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace.
The Santoro family will be holding a service at First English Lutheran Church in Mansfield on January 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
