MANSFIELD — The 2nd annual Mansfield Juneteenth Celebration will will feature a parade and festival downtown at Central Park on Saturday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The celebration will begin with the parade at 10 a.m. featuring special guest marching bands and drumlines, dance groups, local churches, businesses, organizations, and political candidates.
Following the parade will be a day of festivities starting at 11 a.m. in Central Park Mansfield. The festival will include live bands and entertainment, health screenings, community choirs, book signing (local & statewide authors), wine tasting, food trucks, a kid’s zone, a vendor marketplace and more.
Richland County Children Services (RCCS) along with other community partners have had the pleasure of being part of the planning committee working with the event’s organizer Enisia Lee, Princess Endowment, Inc. founder, who made this possible for our area.
This year’s sponsors include FirstEnergy, Directions Credit Union, Park National Bank, Mansfield Dairy Queens, Mechanics Bank, Mansfield/Richland County Public Library and Gary Feagin State Farm Insurance.
