BUTLER — Memorial Day weekend has another event that attracts a number of visitors every year.

The first Pickers Market will take place just outside Butler, on the site of the Prairie Peddler Festival, on Saturday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Organizers say this will be a perfect day for folks to come out and shop at the 50+ vendor booths featuring vintage, salvaged and upcycled finds, antiques, hand-made food products, farmhouse, garden, craft items, jewelry and so much more.

Travelling food trucks will provide a multitude of food options at the event and those in attendance can enjoy live music with Barefoot McCoy.

Many of the vendors are from Richland County and encourage the public to come out Saturday and get to know some of the area’s small business men and women.

The cost is $5 per car.
