RICHLAND COUNTY — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Richland County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
U.S. Route 42 culvert repairs – NEW IMPACTS – U.S. 42, just north of Barr Road, will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Monday, April 24 for culvert repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: Friday, April 28, 2023

Richland County Engineer Adam Gove also announced that Lucas-Perrysville Road, between Trumpower and Wentz Roads in Monroe Township, will be closed starting Monday, April 17 and will remain closed for 60 days, weather permitting. The closure will allow for a bridge replacement project.
Gove also announced that Marion Avenue Road, between Lexington-Ontario Rd. and Sheirer Rd. in Troy Township, is now open. The road was closed for a culvert repair.
