Jean Collins of Mansfield passed away Wednesday evening, March 15, 2023, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital at the age of 60.
She was born November 6, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late James D. and Helen J. (McDowell) Boyd. Jean was always pleasant and never had a complaint. She will be deeply missed by all, but most of all by her twin sister, Joan.
Jean is survived by two daughters, Kara Collins and Kelly Collins; a grandson, Mason Thoroughman; two sisters, Joan (Michael) Young and Donna (Dirk) Macco; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at Lexington Court Care Center for taking such wonderful care of Jean during her stay.
There will be no visitation or services observed. She will be inurned at Mansfield Cemetery at a future date. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the family.
