Mary Helen Soria passed away at home peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Helen was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio and was the daughter of Pete “Pedro” and Catherine Salas Gonzales.
Helen was employed at Jay Plastics for 35 years, retiring in 2008. She was a loving and devoted wife; the best mom ever put on this earth. With her husband, Frank, together they raised 13 children. Helen loved reading mystery novels and was a huge fan of Johnny Cash and Marty Robins. She also loved cats. Helen was the happiest when she had her children and grandchildren around her.
This loving mom will be missed by many, especially her 13 children, Maria Davis, Margaret Soria, Yolanda (Terry) Walton, Shirley Soria, Rebecca Soria, Claudio Soria, Frank Soria, Steve Soria, Melinda (Ralph) Hall, David Soria, Mark Soria, Matthew (Sarah) Soria, and Anita (Eric) Weber; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Soria; first born daughter, Mary; and four brothers and two sisters.
