Mt. Gilead fans held their breath in an uneasy 65-63 victory over Northmor at Mt. Gilead High on January 13 in Ohio boys high school basketball action.

Northmor showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 13-9 advantage over Mt. Gilead as the first quarter ended.

The Indians kept a 25-24 intermission margin at the Golden Knights’ expense.

Mt. Gilead jumped to a 47-42 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Indians maintained the upper hand despite being outscored 21-18 in the fourth quarter.
