The first quarter gave Mt. Vernon a 11-10 lead over West Holmes.

The Yellow Jackets fought to a 29-25 intermission margin at the Knights’ expense.

Mt. Vernon jumped to a 43-36 lead heading into the final quarter.

The Yellow Jackets hummed like a well-oiled machine through the fourth quarter, extending the lead with a 16-8 advantage in the frame.
