Cardington-Lincoln drew first blood by forging a 11-8 margin over Fredericktown after the first quarter.

The Pirates’ offense moved in front for a 21-12 lead over the Freddies at halftime.

The tables turned a bit in the third quarter when Fredericktown got within 28-22.

The Pirates avoided the brakes and shifted into victory gear via a 10-7 stretch over the final quarter.
