SHELBY — Thornapple Hill Alpaca Farm, 2248 Rock Road between Ontario and Shelby, will have its annual Christmas Open House Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25-26, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We have a farm store boutique on our property where you may purchase our products,” said Julie Myers, founder of the farm. “You even get a picture of the animal from which the fiber came from with a purchase of our handmade scarves.
“We will have festive music, spinning demonstrations, cookies and several vendors displaying their products. We have free gift-bagging as well.”
Those interested can also access the website at thornapplehillalpacafarm.com.
“We carry a full line of alpaca socks, gloves, hats, toys, jewelry and many creative ideas for your holiday gift giving. Our handmade Alpaca scarves come with a picture of the alpaca the fiber came from. This is a nice touch to add to your gift for that someone special,” Myers said.
The event promises refreshments and fun.
“Marz, our kissing alpaca, will be our greeter this weekend. We also have four vendors selling essential oils, soaps, hand loomed rugs, felted gnomes and jewelry,” she said.
