MANSFIELD — Trick or treat season is here again! Here are the dates and times across Richland County:
Bellville
The Village of Bellville will have its trick or treat on Oct. 27 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Lineup for the Halloween parade begins at 6:30; the parade begins at 7 p.m. A costume contest hosted by the Jefferson Township Bellville Fire Department will begin immediately after the parade. Cider and donuts will be provided.
Butler
The Village of Butler will have trick or treat Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. There will costume judging and free hotdogs at Worthington Twp. Fire Department after trick or treat. North Liberty Church will have their trunk or treat on Oct. 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Lexington
The Village of Lexington will host a Halloween Trail Walk on the B&O Bike Trail Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants can walk from Lexington Senior Civic Center to Heartland Church for treats.
Lexington’s trick or treat is scheduled for Oct. 27 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Lucas
Trick or Treating in Cub Country will be Oct. 22 from 2 to 3 p.m. The Halloween parade begins at 3:30 p.m.
Madison
Madison Township’s junior and senior high school residential areas will host trick or treating from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27. The mobile home park’s trick or treat is Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. Madison Township areas north of U.S. 30 will host trick or treating Oct. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Mansfield
Mansfield’s downtown Halloween parade will be Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. Downtown Mansfield Trick or Treat will follow from 11 a.m. to noon.
Citywide trick or treat will be Oct. 29 from 3 to 5 p.m. The free event will feature hay rides, candy, hot chocolate and more.
The North End Community Improvement Collaborative will also be hosting its 2nd annual Harvest Festival at 311 Bowman Street from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 29.
The Mansfield YMCA will host is Trunk or Treat Oct. 22 from noon to 2 p.m. The free event offers candy, pumpkin decorating, games, prizes, DJ, food trucks and more.
Ontario
Ontario’s 3rd annual Haunted Hollow Trail will be Oct. 22 at Marshall Park. The family friendly trail is open from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and the scary trail will be open from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Entry is free for children under 5, $5 for older children and $10 for adults. Cash only.
The City of Ontario’s Trick or Treat will be Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. Residents who wish to hand out candy are asked to turn on their porch lights.
Plymouth
The Village of Plymouth will have its 2nd annual Boo on Broadway on Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event will include trick or treating at downtown businesses, food trucks, cotton candy, a glow parade, hot apple cider and pumpkin decorating.
Plymouth trick or treating will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. The American Legion Post will host a costume contest and after party following trick or treat.
Shelby
The city of Shelby has a full day of Halloween events planned on Saturday, Oct. 29. The city’s annual Halloween Parade will kick off the day at 2 p.m. and trick-or-treat hours will take place between 4 and 6 p.m.
If your organization would like to participate in the Halloween parade, please complete an entry form located at Shelby High School or at any local business where you see the flier posted. The Shelby YMCA will host its Trunk or Treat Oct. 21 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The free event will have candy, pumpkin decorating, games and more.
Shelby First Lutheran Church’s ABC Learning Center will also host a Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 29 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Festivities will be held at the First Lutheran Church parking lot at 33 Broadway in downtown Shelby.
Shiloh
The Village of Shiloh will have its trick or treat on Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.
