SHELBY — The 2022 Shelby Whippet Alumni Band is organizing a farewell reunion as part of “The Last Game on Skiles Festivities” on Aug. 19.
The Whippets will open their football season against the Madison Rams that night.
The Alumni Band will join the Shelby Whippet Band during halftime, as has been the Alumni Band tradition for over 25 years. There are currently 127 alumni registered, with 103 planning to march, including alumni majorettes and flag corps members. Alumni range from the class of 1962 to recent 2022 graduates.

There will be a rehearsal at W.W. Skiles Field on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
