MANSFIELD — More than a dozen records were shattered on Saturday during the 2022 Greater Mansfield Aquatic Swimming and Diving Championships at the Walnut Hills Swim Club.

The records fell as host Walnut Hills swept the team titles — boys, girls and overall.

Evan Price from Colonel Crawford was the recipient of the Terry Mayer GMAC Scholarship.

Here are the new records that were set:

— Girls 13-14 200 Medley Relay – Walnut Hills – 1:57.81 – Kayla Caldwell, Reise Stewart, Brailey Slone, Estella Gandee

— Girls 13-14 50 Backstroke – Kayla Caldwell – Walnut Hills (28.06) – Lead off leg of the 200 Medley Relay

— Boys 15-18 200 Freestyle Relay – Walnut Hills – 1:36.80 Jacob Hathaway, Ivan Prykhodko, Trey Nickoli, Lucas Starling

— Boys 15-18 50 Backstroke – Jacob Hathaway – Walnut Hills (23.83) – Lead off leg of the 200 Medley Relay

Three swimmers won five titles (individual and relay) — Klete Watters, Jacob Hathaway and Madison Meeting — all from Walnut Hills.

Six swimmers won three individual titles — Klete Watters, Jacob Hathaway, Madison Meeting and Charli Snyder from Walnut Hills; and Brienne Trumpower, Adayaleise Trumpower and Colton Montgomery from the Clear Fork Swim Club.

Walnut Hills captured the overall team title with 2,694 points, besting Clear Fork (1,837.5), Colonel Crawford (1,522), Woodland (956.5) and the Ashland YMCA (652).

Among girls, Walnut Hills scored 1,287 points to defeat Clear Fork (919.5), Colonel Crawford (914), Woodland (437.5) and Ashland (396).

In the boys’ competition, Walnut Hills had 1,407 points to top Clear Fork (918), Colonel Crawford (608), Woodland (519) and Ashland (256).
