The Mid-Ohio Christian Home School recently conducted its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2022, which consisted of 10 seniors.
All of the Class of 2022 was given a T-shirt with a Bible verse on the front. Each t-shirt is unique. Each graduate’s first name and name of their homeschool is on the back of the shirt. They wore these for graduation rehearsal last Thursday, May 19.
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
“The Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you;
“The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)
The graduation ceremony was on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene. The Master of Ceremonies was Joshua Cunningham, a fellow homeschool Dad. Rev. Derek Parson, commencement speaker, gave an encouraging message to the graduates.
A video was shown with pictures of each graduate from birth to their senior year. Each graduate gave a red rose to their mom before diplomas were presented.
The president of M.O.C.H.A., David Stickle, gave the charge. Then he called each graduate and their homeschool name to receive their diploma from their parents.
The names of the graduates are:
Mitchell Clendening, Nathan Cox, Ethan Davis, Rachel Furr, Kaitlyn Hall, Bethany McClain, Annabella Moran, Abigail Pratt, Kenadi Scarberry, Elisabeth Snow.
