ASHLAND — Ashland police are investigating after five vehicles parked in a soccer parking lot were broken into on Saturday.
The break-ins happened between 7 and 8:30 p.m. at the Ashland Soccer Complex off Middle Rowsburg Road.
Lt. John Simmons said four of the vehicles were locked.
“Entry was gained into the locked vehicles by breaking a window,” Simmons said.
The other was unlocked.
Simmons said purses, money, credits and several other forms of personal identification information were stolen.
The vehicles that were broken into were two Honda vans, two Chevrolet SUVs and a Lincoln SUV.
