ASHLAND — Madi Basilone scored 16 points and Cora Palmer chipped in 10 as Lexington overcame a halftime deficit to earn a 47-38 victory at Ashland on Saturday afternoon in Ohio Cardinal Conference action.
Klaira Paramore’s 13 points led the Arrows and Makaree Chapman contributed 7 points and 10 rebounds.
Lady Lex jumped to a 15-7 first-quarter advantage, but Ashland (2-9 overall, 1-5 in the OCC) rallied to move on top 23-22 at halftime. Lex (4-5, 1-3) retook the lead through three quarters at 36-33, before allowing just five points in the final period to finish it.
The Arrows won the first matchup between these two squads 61-57 on Nov. 27.
Ashland travels to Orrville on Monday.
Lexington hosts Madison on Thursday.
