Patricia A. Greene, age 78, of Westerville, died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital after a brief and unexpected illness.

Pat was born March 12, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ralph J. “Bud” and M. Virginia (O’Hara) Greene. She was a proud 1961 graduate of Shelby High School and continued to stay in close contact with her class and participate in numerous alumni activities. Following high school, Pat attended Bowling Green State University and later graduated from business college. It was after business college that Pat began what would become a 42-year career as an executive secretary at Battelle in Columbus from where she retired.

Pat knew her sports and was an avid fan, especially of the Cleveland Browns. She was active in her condo association, participating in various social activities including the euchre club, dinners, and a variety of events. She was also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville.

Pat is survived by her brothers: her twin, Mike Greene (Pam Wilging) and Rich (Amy) Greene both of Mansfield. Pat was incredibly proud of her nephews and their achievements. She took a special love and interest in anything they were involved with and all their successes. Those nephews, Ryan (Dominique) Greene, Patrick Greene, Scott (Michelle) Smith, Sean (Tracy) Greene, and Brian (Rachel) Greene survive along with a niece:  Kelly (Ron) Karpanty; their families, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
