MANSFIELD — OhioHealth will begin providing the COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11 years, on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic within the OhioHealth Ontario Health and Fitness Center, 1750 West Fourth Street, Ontario.
The clinic is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 is administered as a two-dose primary series, three weeks apart. The dosage amount is less than that used for individuals 12 years of age and older.
Vaccine recipients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults, including guardians, must bring identification that includes name and age.
