MANSFIELD — The public is invited to celebrate conservation in Richland County at the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) annual celebration.
The Celebration will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at the Richland County Longview Center, 1495 W. Longview Avenue in Mansfield at 6 p.m. The celebration will be held in person and shared on Facebook Live.
There is no cost to attend in person and in person only reservations are requested by Nov. 1 by emailing Contact@Richlandswcd.net or calling 419-747-8685.
The Conservationist and Volunteer of the Year recipients will be announced, volunteers recognized, and Board Supervisor election results shared.
There are two open positions for Board Supervisors and voting is open until November 2. Board Supervisor candidates are Lanny Hopkins, Jean McClintock and Mike Temple. Election information is available at https://richlandswcd.net/get-involved/board-supervisors.
