MANSFIELD – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Richland County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
U.S. Route 30 major rehabilitation – U.S. 30, from State Route 309 to just east of the 5th Avenue ramps, will have single-lane closures for a major rehabilitation project. Traffic will always be maintained.
NEW IMPACTS
Longview Avenue east, from SR 13 to SR 545, will be closed for 5 days beginning Monday, October 11 for a culvert replacement. Traffic will still have access to the U.S. 30 eastbound entrance/exit ramps from the SR 13 side. Estimated reopening date: Friday, October 15, 2021.
CONTINUING IMPACTS
Westbound traffic is currently in two lanes the entire length of the project.
All ramps are currently open in both the eastbound and westbound directions, apart from the SR 545 to U.S. 30 westbound entrance ramp.
One lane of eastbound traffic will be maintained from just west of SR 309 to SR 13, and two lanes of traffic eastbound form SR 13 to just east of 5th
Lane widths will be 11’ throughout the length of the project.
Estimated completion of entire project: May 2023
I-71 striping project – NEW IMPACTS – I-71, from the Morrow County line to SR 13, will have crews striping the roadway. This is a rolling operation, so traffic will be maintained in all lanes. However, motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area and pay attention when approaching the crews. Estimated completion: October 2021
