SYCAMORE — Four different Colonel Crawford defenders intercepted passes and the usual suspects dominated the Eagles’ offense as C.C. rolled to a convincing 42-14 win at Mohawk on Friday night in Northern 10 action.
Lincoln Mollenkopf ran for 245 yards on 21 carries and scored 3 rushing TDs. He also caught a touchdown pass. Kamryn Lohr completed 6-of-16 passes for 115 yards and 3 TDs to pace the Eagles’ attack.
The two squads battled to a 7-7 first-quarter stalemate, but Colonel Crawford took control in the second quarter with three unanswered touchdowns to grab a 28-7 advantage at intermission.
The Eagles added another TD in the third period for a 35-7 gap heading to the final 12 minutes.
Colonel Crawford is 6-1 overall, 3-1 in the Northern 10. The Eagles bus to Buckeye Central next week.
Mohawk slips to 2-5, 1-3 and travels to Bucyrus next week.
