MANSFIELD – The 66th annual Fall Harvest Show, sponsored by the Mansfield Men’s Garden Club, will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28 and Sunday, Aug. 29 in the Carriage House at Kingwood Center Gardens.
The show is free and open to the public with paid admission to the gardens. Show viewing is on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Area gardeners are invited to show their botanical best including vegetables, flowers, fruits, herbs, houseplants, and designed arrangements. Entries will compete for monetary prizes and ribbons in a variety of categories. Junior gardeners in grades 12 and under may also enter the show. This year’s floral design theme is “Signs of Autumn- New Beginnings.”
Entries will be accepted at Kingwood from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28. Help to transport entries will be available. Show schedules, entry cards, and other information may be obtained at Kingwood Center Gardens or by calling 419-522-0211.
The Mansfield Men’s Garden Club has dedicated the 2021 Fall Harvest Show in memory of Larry Linn.
This year’s sponsors are the John P. Gross Family Fund and Mechanics Bank. General admission: 13 years and up – $5; Children 12 years and under and Kingwood members are free.
